Senior Fitness Specialists, certified from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, are skilled trainers who understand the unique fitness needs of older people. Darla O’Brien has maintained a Senior Fitness Specialist certification since 2014.
4 Common Issues With Senior Fitness Training
As your body ages, you must approach exercise and fitness with a greater awareness. This is because issues you’ve never experienced before may introduce different challenges.

To slow age-related decline you take medication, use assistive devices such as canes or walkers, or undergo surgery. Darla will ask you the right questions, look at deep-rooted causes, and teach you the appropriate (and safe) exercises.

Working under guidance from your doctor, surgeon or physical therapist, Darla will assess your physical fitness and develop an exercise program customized to your needs.
